Turquoise Lake










Like sterling charms around a blue-green gemstone, the Turquoise Lake Recreation Area campgrounds are treasures for nature loving families. About two and a half hours west of Denver, in the heart of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains near Leadville, the campgrounds are named for nearby gold and silver mines and the mineral tycoons who owned them. They offer access to boating, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and beaches with million dollar vistas.

Red Rocks Amphitheater

Public, organizational and private performances have been held at Red Rocks for more than 100 years. The earliest documented performance at the amphitheatre was the Grand Opening of the Garden of the Titans, put on by famed editor John Brisben Walker on May 31, 1906.
